As every summer, this year, apart from the revision and preparation for the next school year, there were also creative activity classes.
In this context, we include literature activities, as literature is linked to aesthetic pleasure, while at the same time enriching children’s knowledge.
This year the reading of subversive fairy tales was a part of our summer readings. During our readings the children actively participated and pleasantly surprised us with their ideas after the reading, as well as with their active participation in the activities that followed, reinforcing the view that literature enhances freedom of thought and the cultivation of emotion
